Saturday, May 26th, 2012: Fly-out to San Carlos (KSQL), Hiller Aviation Museum

PAPA’s May 26th Fly-out will be to KSQL (San Carlos) to visit the Hiller Aviation Museum.

Meet @ the PAPA hangar @ 0830 for pilot brief, and wheels up at 0930? The Museum opens at 1000hrs.

Flying to the Museum:
After clearing the runway contact the Ground Frequency and ask for the Northwest Transient parking. There is a walkthrough gate that leads out behind the Izzy’s restaurant. It is a short walk past the Fairfield Hotel to the museum. (Remember the gate code to get back in.)

If you park at the airport terminal, proceed into the airport office. The airport may provide a shuttle or you can call the museum. Also, it is a short walk around the outside airport perimeter.
