Boonville Late Notice (sorry)

Hi folks,

This is the time of year that EAA Chapter 1027 holds an event exclusively dedicated to honoring all of our veterans, past and present.

This year it’s the 5th Annual Boonville Salute to Veterans Fly-In, Sunday, November 13th, from 11 AM to 3 PM at Boonville, CA airport, D83.

Back by popular demand, to provide you with expedited food service, we’ll have on hand two almost professional barbecue chefs to prepare an exquisite burger, cooked just the way you like it probably. With the great burger meal you’ll have freshly prepared side dishes, deserts, and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy along with the good company of others.

This is a great get together and opportunity to display your plane (certificates provided), do some hangar flying, and enjoy some fly-bys. If you know a vet who would like to attend, you can help us honor them by providing a flight to this event for them if you would.

The current AccuWeather forecast for Boonville Sunday the 13th is sunshine with patchy clouds, temperature of 70 degrees, perfect!  Before you depart for Boonville Sunday morning you can give EAA Chapter 1027 member and Boonville Airport Manager Cap’n Kirk Wilder a call at 707-895-2949 and he’ll give you an on the spot weather PIREP for the Anderson Valley and Boonville airport.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all again, and any guests you may want to bring with you.

 Happy Flying,

 The EAA Chapter 1027 Group
